Spicy Chili Bake

This Spicy Chili Bake recipe is great to serve to friends and family for game day or just anytime you have someone over to visit. It's super easy to prepare and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (15.5 ounccan chili beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 (10 ounccan tomatoes and green chilis undrained
  • 2/3 cup chunky salsa
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Dash hot sauce Optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed corn chips
  • Sour Cream
  • Shredded Cheese of your choice I use a Mexican blend
  • Corn chips or scoops

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef, onion and green peppers in a skillet on top of the stove. Drain. Combine with chili beans, tomatoes, salsa, onion, green pepper, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, black pepper, salt and hot sauce. Mix in the 1 cup crushed corn chips.
  • Pour into a 2 quart casserole dish. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven, covered for about 30 minutes. Can sprinkle shredded cheese on top while hot or serve to guests along with sour cream, corn chips or scoops and extra salsa.
