Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of Brussels sprouts ends trimmed and sliced in half
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil divided
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place brussels sprouts in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic powder, and black pepper, and toss until mixed.
  • In a 9X13 baking dish cover the bottom with the other tablespoon of olive oil. I used a paper towel to spread the oil. Spread cheese over oil.
  • Take sprouts, cut side down and place firmly on top of cheese. Twist them to make the cheese stick.
  • Roast in oven for 25 minutes.
