Fried Potato Cakes
Fried potato cakes are so easy and perfect for an appetizer or for breakfast. Great to make when you have leftover mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

cups
mashed potatoes

egg

small onion or several green onions
chopped
1/4
teaspoon
black pepper
can use cayenne
1/2
teaspoon
garlic powder

cup
all-purpose flour

cup
oil for frying
Instructions
Mix all ingredients except the oil into the potatoes. Make into patties. Fry in hot oil until browned on both sides.
