This French Onion Beef and Rice is a dish your family will love. Super easy to make, reheats well and loaded in flavor. Serve with green beans and cornbread muffins!
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a 12 inch cast iron skillet brown ground beef and minced garlic, add chopped onion and celery and sautee for a few minutes. Drain grease from beef if needed.
Add smoked paprika, beef consume, french onion soup, rice, salt and pepper. Cut butter into slices and place on top.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 30 minutes. Remove from oven, fluff with a fork and serve.
