Easy Key Lime Pie

This easy key lime pie is one your family will love. The no bake filling and the homemade crust is a wonderful combination!

Ingredients

Crust Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup nuts finely chopped or ground I used walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 12 tablespoons butter melted

Filling Ingredients

  • 3 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 14 ounce can condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup key lime juice or regular lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 8 ounces thawed cool whip

Instructions

Crust Instructions

  • Combine all crust ingredients. Press into 9 inch regular pie shell. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Let cool before adding pie filling.

Filling Instructions

  • Beat softened cream cheese until smooth with a mixer. Add condensed milk, lime juice and lime zest and continue mixing until combined. Fold in thawed cool whip. Pour into cooled crust and chill 4 to 5 hours or overnight until set. Can garnish with lime slices and lime zest.

Notes

If you use 3 packages of cream cheese, you could make this in a deep dish crust. You can use a bought graham cracker crust instead of making your own. If you use a regular 9 inch crust like we did your filling will be tall like the filling in our pie because we used a regular crust and recipe makes a lot of filling.
