Broccoli Raisin Salad
Broccoli Raisin Salad is a classic! It's always better the next day so you can make it in advance and wonderful for any occasion. You can use craisins instead of raisins if you choose.

Ingredients

cups
fresh broccoli
1/2
cup
green onion
chopped
3/4
cup
seedless raisins
4
slices
bacon
cooked and crumbled
1/3
cup
shelled sunflower seeds

tablespoons
mayonnaise

tablespoons
cider vinegar
2
tablespoons
sugar
1/4
teaspoon
pepper
1/2
teaspoon
salt
Instructions
Cover and soak raisins with water till plump, drain.
Combine broccoli, onion, bacon, sunflower seeds, and raisins and set aside.
Mix the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Toss with salad, chill until served.
Makes about six servings.
Notes
Can easily double this recipe for a larger group.
