415.8 ounce cans of black-eyed peas, drained and rinsed
1/2cupof chopped white onion
3/4cupof your favorite bbq sauce
1/3cupof ketchup
1/3cupof maple syrup
2tablespoonsof brown sugar
2tablespoonsof yellow mustard
1tablespoonof Liquid Smoke
1tablespoonof Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
Brown sausage and onion together in skillet and drain grease. Combine sausage with all other ingredients in a casserole dish with lid and bake on 350 degrees in a preheated oven for 35-45 minutes.
Notes
Peas have a tendency to get dry, so I do stir this dish periodically while it's cooking.
