Sweet Macaroni Salad with Ham
This Sweet Macaroni Salad with Ham is a great dish for any gathering or picnic.
Ingredients
Salad Ingredients:
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (cooked al-dente according to package directions)
- 4 hard boiled eggs peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet green pepper
- 2 cups cooked chopped ham
Dressing for Salad:
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise or Miracle Whip
- 3 tablespoons white granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
Instructions
- Combine salad ingredients in a large bowl. Toss to mix.
- Combine dressing ingredients and pour over salad. Mix well. I refrigerate at least 3 to 4 hours before serving.
