2tablespoonsbutter
1/2cupshredded Parmesan cheese
2eggs
1cupsmall curd cottage cheesecould use ricotta
2tablespoonsdried parsley
1/2teaspoondried basil
1poundmild Italian ground sausage
1/2medium sized onionchopped
14.5ouncecan diced tomatoesdrained
2cupstomato and basil pasta saucecan use your favorite flavor pasta sauce
1cupshredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
Cook spaghetti according to package directions until reaches al center stage. Remove from stove and drain. Toss with butter and Parmesan cheese. Add eggs and continue tossing.
Place spaghetti in a sprayed deep dish pie pan spreading over bottom and part way up sides. Spread cottage cheese over spaghetti and sprinkle on parsley and basil.
Brown sausage and onions in a skillet on top of stove. Drain if needed. Add drained diced tomatoes and pasta sauce and simmer 10 minutes. Pour sausage and tomatoes over cottage cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Remove and add 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese on top. Return to oven for 5 minutes to melt cheese.
