Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons whole cloves
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 to 3 oranges can use the whole orange and slice or just use the peelings
  • 1 to 2 apples just the peelings or apple slices
  • 4 to 5 cups water

Instructions

  • Add fruit and spices to a pot on top of the stove along with water.  Bring to a boil and turn down to simmer.  Just be sure to add more water during the day if needed.
  • If using crock pot, just add fruit and spices plus water to crock pot and turn on the pot. I leave the top off my crock pot.

Notes

Here are some other ingredients you can consider using in your pots:  star anise, cranberries, lemons, ground ginger, pine needles, essential oils, bay leaves, fresh herbs.
