Ritzy Cabbage Casserole

- 1 small head of cabbage shredded or chopped in small pieces
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter or 1/2 stick or 1/4 cup melted
- 2 cups shredded cheese I use sharp cheddar, you can use whatever you like
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
Topping:
- 1 sleeve of Ritz crackers or about 30 crackers crumbled
- 4 tablespoons butter or 1/2 stick or 1/4 cup melted
Chop cabbage in small pieces or shred and add to large mixing bowl. Whisk together the milk, butter, shredded cheese, black pepper, salt and eggs. Toss with chopped cabbage. Spray a 2 to 3 quart baking dish with cooking oil and add cabbage mixture to dish. Sprinkle on topping
