Pumpkin Syrup

This pumpkin syrup is easy and delicious over pancakes, French toast and even in your coffee!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 stick butter or 8 tablespoon or 1/2 cup
  • 1/2 cup 100% pumpkin puree
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin spice

Instructions

  • Whisk cornstarch into water until smooth. Combine honey, water with cornstarch, butter and pumpkin puree in a saucepan on top of the stove.
  • Bring to a rolling boil and cook until becomes like a syrup or to the consistency you like. This usually take about 2 minutes. Remove from stove and stir in vanilla extract and spices. Makes about 2 cups of syrup.
