- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
- 1 medium onion peeled and chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 14.5 ounce can diced tomatoes
- 1 15 ounce can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup rotini pasta uncooked
Brown Italian sausage, onion, green pepper and pepperoni in a large skillet. Drain, if needed. Add remaining ingredients, cover and cook about 25 minutes on medium low or until pasta is cooked, stirring a couple times. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
