- 1 lb Pork breakfast sausage
- 1 lb fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup of chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
- 12 ounces beef gravy
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 12 ounces of wide egg noodles
Prepare egg noodles according to the directions on the package. Drain.
Brown breakfast sausage, fresh mushrooms, onions, and minced garlic over medium heat on top of the stove. Drain off any grease.
Add beef gravy and pepper and boil until liquid is cooked down to about half.
Turn down the heat and mix in sour cream.
Serve over noodles.
Top with crispy fried onions.
