Baked Meatballs
These easy baked meatballs are great for spaghetti or an appetizer.
Servings: 30 meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 cup quick cooking oats uncooked
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 onion grated
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic or one clove of garlic chopped
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine all ingredients. I mix it with my hands and roll into meatballs the size you like. Spray a cookie sheet or flat pan with cooking spray.
- Place meatballs about one inch apart and cook in preheated 400 degree oven 25 to 30 minutes. Makes about 25 regular sized meatballs or 35 small ones. Once cooked add a jar or can of your favorite spaghetti sauce or make your own sauce. Serve over spaghetti.
Notes
You can also make these smaller and once cooked put in crockpot with 1 cup grape jelly and 1 1/2 cups chili sauce. Cook on low for about 5 hours and makes a great appetizer to serve at parties. These freeze well, too. Just be sure they are completely cooled before freezing and place in airtight container.
