This easy recipe for Apple Coleslaw is a great addition to any gathering. Very refreshing and easy to make.

Ingredients
3cupschopped cabbage
1carrotscraped and shredded
2applesunpeeled and chopped, (can use 1 red and 1 green,. I used red delicious)
1/4 to 1/2cupchopped onion(I used purple because I think it is prettier but could use regular or green onion)
1teaspooncelery seeds or 1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2cupmayonnaise or Miracle Whip
2tablespoonshoney
1tablespoonwhite granulated sugar
2teaspoonswhite vinegar
1/8teaspoonblack pepper
pinchsalt
Instructions
Combine cabbage, shredded carrot, chopped apples, onion and celery seeds and toss. Whisk together mayonnaise, honey, sugar, white vinegar, black pepper and salt
Pour over slaw. Mix well with spoon. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours before serving. Makes about 4 cups or 8 servings.
Notes
You could add red or green peppers, raisins or nuts to this recipe. You can use lite mayo and leave out the sugar or use sugar substitute to make it more healthy.
