Cantaloupe Basil Salad

This easy cantaloupe basil salad is the perfect summer side dish.

  • 1 medium cantaloupe deseeded and chopped
  • 1 medium cucumber peeled and deseeded
  • 1/2 cup of blueberries
  • 2 ounces of feta cheese
  • Fresh basil chopped
  • 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • Salt to taste


  • Mix cantaloupe, cucumber, blueberries, feta cheese, chopped basil and pecans in a bowl. Whisk together olive oil, lime juice and salt and pour over salad. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.


I use about 10 leaves of fresh basil. Feel free to use as much as you like.
