  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon of minced garlic
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese
  • 4 ounces of sour cream
  • 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of liquid smoke
  • diced tomatoes
  • chopped dill pickles
  • potato chips

  • Brown ground beef, minced garlic and onion over medium heat until cooked through. Drain. Mix all other ingredients in a slow cooker and cook on low until warmed through. Slow cookers vary, it takes mine around an hour to warm through. Watch it, this is a thick dip and you don’t want to burn it. This can easily be cooked on top of the stove. Garnish with diced tomatoes and dill pickles. Serve with potato chips.

This dip is also fabulous poured over tater tots or French fries.
