  • 1 14.25 ounce can French style green beans, drained
  • 1 14.5 ounce can wax beans, drained
  • 1 15 ounce can kidney beans, drained
  • 1/2 cup green pepper chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery chopped
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup salad oil 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard


  • Combine beans, green pepper, onion, salt, pepper and celery in a large bowl.  Beat vinegar, sugar, oil and mustard with a whisk.  Pour over salad and chill for several hours or overnight.  Makes about 8 servings.


I have added fresh chopped tomatoes to this salad right before serving
