  • 1 pound pork sausage We use Jimmy Dean’s Mild Pork Sausage but you can use hot or mild
  • 2 8 ounce packages Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 2 10 ounce cans of Ro-tel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies (regular, mild or hot)
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic optional

  • Brown sausage, onion and garlic in a skillet and drain. While sausage is cooking put cream cheese and tomatoes in crock pot on high. Add browned sausage to crock pot and let cook until cheese is melted and dip is hot. Serve with nachos, chips, or crackers of your choice.

Anne does not add the onions and garlic to her recipe. You can do it either way or you could use hamburger to make this. You could also add hot sauce  if you want it really hot.
