Chinese Buffet Donuts

These are the donuts you find on the Chinese Buffet! Only 3 Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 7.5 ounce can buttermilk biscuits
  • White granulated sugar about 1/4 cup
  • Cooking oil I used Canola and enough to make about 1/2 inch in a small pot

Instructions

  • Heat oil between medium and high until HOT.  Drop in biscuits one at a time until golden brown. Depending on how hot your oil is, this will take no time at all.  Flip to other side, cook till golden brown.  Remove to paper towels and dip in sugar.  Makes 12 donuts. 
  • This took just seconds to cook because my oil was HOT. If will vary depending on how hot your oil is.

Notes

I add 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon to the sugar to make the cinnamon donuts. You can add more or less cinnamon to suit your taste.
