How to Make Biscuit Cheese Burst

These are so easy and they are so good served with Chili or soups.

  • 1 can Flaky Jumbo Buttermilk Biscuits (You can use about any kind of biscuit, even homemade)
  • 8 cubes cheddar cheese (can use whatever cheese you like)
  • 2 -3 tablespoons milk
  • About a teaspoon of either sesame seeds or poppy seeds (I used some of both on these biscuits and I used the toasted sesame seeds)


  • Place the biscuits on a baking sheet. Pull apart and insert a piece of cheese in each biscuit
  • Pinch the outside of the biscuits together. Cut a large X into the top of each biscuit.
  • Brush the biscuit tops with the milk and sprinkle on sesame or poppy seeds or both. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and cook 10 to 12 minutes.
