We love these Pumpkin Biscuits slathered in butter and honey.

3/4cupwhole wheat flour
1cup100% pumpkinNot the pumpkin pie mix
1/4cupor 4 tablespoons butter or margarinemelted
In a large mixing bowl combine whole wheat flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger. Mix well with wire whisk.
Add pumpkin, butter and buttermilk and mix well with a spoon. Pour dough onto a well floured board and pat out with your hands. I don’t try to roll this out.
Cut with a biscuit cutter, glass, cookie cutter or whatever you use to make biscuits. Lightly spray baking sheet. Place biscuits on sheet and bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes. Can brush with melted butter on tops.
