Grape salad is wonderful for summer or anytime.

Grape SaladGrape salad is so easy and quick if you need a delicious salad for family and guests that only takes a few minutes to make.  I love having this grape salad in the refrigerator for my lunch or anytime I need a refreshing snack during the day.  Throw it together for any gathering, buffet, game day or holiday.  You can double or triple the recipe or even cut it in half for one person. This salad keeps for several days if your grapes are fresh when you make it.  You can use red or green grapes or a combination of both.  Be sure and check out our recipe for Grape Nut Fluff, too.

This recipe is very versatile in that you can add other fruits, you could cut the grapes in half if you like and you could add coconut.  This is my basic recipe and I often add to it depending on what ingredients I have on hand.  I love basic recipes I can make my own.  Leave us a comment with your favorite way to prepare this one!

Ingredients for grape salad:

1 to 1 1/2 pounds grapes, red or green or a combination of both

3/4 cup sour cream

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup white granulated sugar

1/2 cup chopped walnuts, can use whatever nut you like

Mix together sour cream, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and sugar with mixer.  Fold in grapes with spoon.  Sprinkle top with nuts.  Chill and serve.  Makes 4 servings. Enjoy!
