YELLOW BANANA CAKE

This banana cake turned out so good.  Your family and guests will love it! Super easy to make and perfect for any gathering. They will for sure think you made this from scratch.

1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix
1 (3.4 ounce) box banana cream instant pudding and pie filling
2 bananas, mashed
1/3 cup oil
3 eggs
1 cup milk
 
Mix the dry ingredients, add eggs, oil and milk.  Fold in bananas. Spray cake pan with cooking spray. Bake in preheated  350 degree oven for 50 minutes or until done in the middle. 
                                                      
Frosting
2 1/2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 1/2 cups confectionery sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
2 – 4 tablespoons carnation milk
1/2 cup nuts of your choice
 
Combine all ingredients except nuts and mix until smooth.  Frost cake and sprinkle nuts on top. 
Note:  This frosting is more like a sauce that you pour over the cake than cake frosting.
 
If you want to frost the entire cake, you might consider making my Nutmeg Frosting for this cake.
