Peanut Butter Crispy Treats - Copy Peanut butter treats made with rice krispies cereal are one of my favorite things.  I like these snacks or treats as much as my grandchildren like them.  This Nana better have peanut butter on hand when they come to visit!  I used to make them for my twins,  too.  That has been years ago.  I think most people like peanut butter and I have found most people like these peanut butter treats.

1 cup light corn syrup
 1 cup sugar
1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Spray a 13″ x 9″ x 2″ baking dish.  In a large saucepan over low heat stir together first three ingredients.  Stir constantly, bring to boil and boil three minutes.  Remove from heat and add to cereal in a large mixing bowl.  Toss and coat well.  Press into pan.  Cool and cut into squares.  Enjoy!
Note:  If you have this left over and it gets hard after a couple days, just put pieces in microwave for about 8 seconds and it will be just like it was fresh made again.
Southern Nana loves peanut butter almost as much as Tater Tot and there is usually not much of this treat left!
