Cookies are like a staple in most homes and keeping them fresh can sometimes be a problem. Here is a handy tip to keep your homemade cookie treats from getting dry and crumbly after a few days of baking them. If you are a grandparent, you must have them on hand when the grandchildren visit or be ready to make them!

Place cookies in an airtight container and add a slice of bread to the container.  Your homemade treats will stay moist as the day they were made!
