Ham, Swiss, Bacon with Apple Sandwich

This Ham, Swiss, Bacon with Apple Sandwich is one of my favorites.  Men will love this sandwich because it is good, has a lot on it and is filling.  Just add a pickle and some chips for a meal.  I have to admit I am not a big sandwich person but I like this one and often have it for lunch.  This sandwich is great with just about any kind of soup, too.

2 slices bread,  (I used French bread in the photo. Texas toast is good or whatever you like)

Butter for both sides of the bread (Can butter outside and use mayo or mustard on the inside of the slices)

1 -2 slices cooked ham (We love Kentucky legend if you can find it where you shop)

1 slice swiss cheese

2 slices bacon, cooked

1 to 2 slices of your favorite apple

Toast one side of each slice of the bread on a grill or in a skillet,  add swiss cheese, ham, bacon and apple.  Toast the outsides of the sandwich. Makes 1 large sandwich. Enjoy!

Some great soup recipes, too:

Creamy Chicken Vegetable Soup
Crock Pot Black Bean Soup
French Onion Soup
