Creamy Spinach Dip - TSLCWe love this dip. I can’t get enough of it and it does not last long at my house. This dip is good with anything. I have even put it on baked potatoes!

Fresh Spinach (Enough to make 2 cups of chopped spinach)
2 tablespoons green onion, finely chopped
1 (8 ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, chopped
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2/3 cup sour cream
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
pinch of cayenne
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (Optional)
Nuts of your choice (Optional)
Mix all ingredients together. Chill for a couple of hours before serving. Serve with breads, chips or crackers. Note: We like it just plain without the cheese and nuts but it’s good both ways. Makes about 3 cups.  Enjoy!

  1. Judy – this looks awesome and I love the simplicity too. I’m just not sure if you cook the spinach first? Do you use it raw? Thanks so much for all the wonderfulness you share during the year!
