CHOCOLATE CHIP PUMPKIN COOKIES

The Christmas holidays are always a time to make cookies and treats for family and friends.

These pumpkin drop cookies with chocolate chips will melt in your mouth.

1 1/2 cups canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon milk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts pieces

In a large bowl mix pumpkin, sugar, oil, egg and milk with mixer.  Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and vanilla and continuing mixing.  Fold in chocolate chips and walnut pieces.  Drop by tablespoons onto a sprayed cookie sheet.  Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.  Enjoy!

  1. those look yummy! I could eat one (or a couple!) right now! :)

  2. Chocolate and pumpkin….can’t go wrong with a combination like that!

  3. I just made these and they are delicious, thanks. I just left the nuts out because my son prefers them that way.

  4. Those look so soft and chewy. Great recipe.

  5. I have a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe, too, and wondered if it was similar to yours. Mine has only three, yes, 3, ingredients!! You need one spice cake mix, one 15 oz. can of pumpkin, and one bag of chocolate chips (I prefer dark chocolate chips in this, but semi-sweet are fine). You mix them all together and bake at 375 degrees for 15-17 minutes or until they look dry and kind of bounce back when u touch them. You can put quite a few on a baking sheet (I use baking stones) because they don’t spread out. I use a small scoop to measure mine out. They are wonderful!!!! My husband is addicted to them!
