This is one of my favorite things to do with ham. These biscuits are wonderful for breakfast but are great any time of the day. If you have leftover ham try this recipe. Your family will love it.2 cups all-purpose flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup shortening 1 cup milk 1 cup chopped cooked ham Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt until well mixed. Cut in shortening. Add milk and ham; mix just to blend ingredients. Turn onto lightly floured board; knead gently 5 to 6 times. Cut out with biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes 12 – 15 biscuits. Enjoy! © The Southern Lady Cooks photos and text – All rights reserved.
